NICE NATURE WALKS offers a completely different and more personalised local experience:

  • We only host small groups, this can be a minimum of just 2 people – and an absolute maximum of 10 people.
  • We are multilingual – all our tours are guided in English, French and German.
  • All meeting points at the commencement of each walk are easily accessible by public transport.
  • The end of the tour is different to the start which allows you to visit museums nearby, swim and sunbathe, enjoy the landscape, and return at your own pace. That’s the reason why the return is NOT included in the tour duration. Information about the return trip to the city centre will be given during the tour.  We would be delighted to “tailor make” an itinerary for you. All tour durations are approximate and depend on the traffic and the pace of the group.
  • The dates of the scheduled tours in the calendar are the current proposed dates. However, we will offer as much flexibility as we can in order to accommodate your holiday planning as long as nobody else has already booked the scheduled visit.
  • In case of heavy rain the walking tour will be cancelled (as the landscapes are frequently too slippery). Enjoy the day in a museum or shopping centre instead (see chapter “Great ideas”).
  • In case of heavy wind and waves the coastal footpaths will be closed for security reasons. Therefore we will propose an alternative tour without using the coastal path.
  • The calendar may change depending on the weather and the tour preferences; please check our website frequently for the most up to date information.
  • We do not charge any cancellation fees up to 18 hours prior to the tour start.
  • We accept payment by credit card, French cheque or cash on the spot.
  • After your first tour, you will automatically qualify for a 2€ discount for any additional tour with NICE NATURE WALKS.

Please note that a certain level of fitness is needed for all these tours as our local geography means that we necessarily take many steps and up and down streets and paths. We regret that currently it is not possible to accommodate pushchairs, wheelchairs or guests with reduced mobility on our walks.

Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a bottle of water; don’t forget your sun hat, sun glasses and sun lotion. For longer tours we recommend to take a picnic with you (see tour comments). If you want to spend the afternoon on the beach please bring your swimming gear and towel with you.

NOT included in the tour: Water, picnic, any transport fares, return to the city centre of Nice
