Nice has a lot of sunshine with almost 300 days of good weather per year.
Winter temperatures are mild, so you can easily walk around in a t-shirt in the sun. Summer is pleasant with temperatures around 30°C, sea breezes and very little rain. Summer nights remain very warm at around 25°C. Please click on NNW_Climat in Nice for further details on the temperatures in Nice.
The ideal period is the Indian summer in September/October due to the mild air and water temperatures. Spring and autumn are quite rainy with the risk of violent thunderstorms causing flooding. To capture the beautiful luminosity of the Côte d’Azur in photographs we recommend that you come in winter.
Thanks to the exotic and Mediterranean vegetation Nice and its surroundings are in bloom all year round – come and enjoy this splendour of colours:
